The great watercourse allows observations of various kinds between nature, history and archeology. Once you reach the medieval village, you walk along the ancient tanneries and eighteenth-century palaces and the district of sa Costa, characterized by the presence of the Malaspina toll booth. A kilometer upstream you reach the ancient cathedral of San Pietro extramuros which stands on the remains of the ancient Roman city of Calmedia.
